Haliburton Highland Lake

This is a 36 X 48 acrylic painting on canvas, created from a 16 X 20 plein air version.  This is Paudash Lake in the Haliburton Highlands in the  Canadian Shield in Ontario.  This was a warm, mostly overcast day in September when the colours were not quite at their peak.  This work exudes a quiet peacefulness that will bring smiles and warmth in any setting.
